This chapter describes configuring and operating a running Arminius deployment and its direct dependencies.
Startup Behavior
For cloud-native environments, it is generally preferable that Arminius microservices start even if PostgreSQL or NATS are unavailable.
Set the environment variable ARMINIUS_LAZY to enable this behavior. PostgreSQL
recognizes 1 or true and defers the initial connection until the first query.
NATS recognizes any nonempty value and retries the initial connection.
